Mine cost about 10 dollar each and they are a copy of a Viking ring, they are nice. Stefan would never say yes if it wasn't real metal rings and nicely done cause he would only think I was joking.
Your rings are very attractive. I think they'll be perfect until you can afford what you really want!
We were poor students when we got married, too! We had a double wedding with my sister, and bought our rings at Walgreens for $2.50 each. When the priest blessed them, you could not tell mine was not real and Patty's was. I got real diamonds after we were married 14 years and already had two boys who were 7 and 8 years old!
But I still have my old rings, too, even though the stones fell out!
A ring does not make a marriage, love and caring do!
Those rings are beautiful! I love the elegance of the design, something to look at, but not too loud. That is also something like what Mika and I are searching for. No diamonds either.
I found out that in Finland it is that way with rings too.. Male and Female get engagement rings, but generally only females get wedding rings. *shrug* Since Mika and I didn't get engagement rings, we are looking for rings for the both of us right now. (It sure confused a lady at one of the jewelry stores.)
I am so glad to hear Stefan took you seriously when you proposed! And what a beautiful and meaningful proposal it was too! Have you told your family and friends yet? We told our parents yesterday, but friends still don't know...

The wedding is in the future not in a years time but I'm happy and the rings are in bronze since we are poor, we will upgrade
Who cares if the rings are not gold?
