Hi,
Please excuse the hat, another cl gave me a list of cooking boards and I chose this one to ask my embarrassing question.
Cute hat!
Hello Bev welcome to the Curious Chef message board! We are always THRILLED to see new faces on here!! Winnie welcomes Bev to this board with (((LOTS AND LOTS OF GENTLE BEAR HUGS))))) Karen a.k.a. K-Roni is our CL on here and I hope that Karen won't mind if I answer your question for you?? Ya don't mind do ya Karen?? *Winnie hopes Karen doesn't mind* ;-) Anyway,to answer your question I hope you will find this information useful!!
Lemon Pepper: Is a blend of black pepper and dehydrated lemon! Lemon Pepper can be used in salads, poultry dishes, broiled meats or seafood! While Lemon Pepper is a different and good seasoning, you will want to be VERY CAREFUL of how much of this spice that you add to your dishes! I had a friend who once used McCormick's brand of Lemon Pepper and she added a generous amount of it to some pot roast that she was baking in the oven and the Lemon Pepper seasoning overwhelmed the taste of the roast! If you would like my HONEST OPINION I would just add VERY LITTLE of this spice to whatever dish that you maybe cooking just to see how it tastes after you have cooked whatever dish it is that you are cooking!
You can always add more of the Lemon Pepper spice if you need it,but if you add to much ahead of time,it will tend to make your dish taste very peppery and lemony and your dinner guests may be puckering up their lips like fish because of the lemon flavor! Please let us know if I have helped you at all and I hope that you will stop by on here often and say hello to us! If you have any other food questions,or if you are just looking for a good board to come to for some laughs, please feel free to stop in and say,"Hello." It was nice to meet you Bev and I hope that I have answered your question!! Winnie *SMILES* and *BLUSHES* ;-)
Winnie
VERY well done, Winnie!
