Yeast in the fridge question

Ok, so a friend of mine is going to make some bread or rolls, but she wants to make the dough on Friday evening and bake them Saturday morning or mid-day so that we have fresh bread for our costume party.

Is it feasible to keep yeast in the fridge for so long? Is that too long of a time? Or?

I had a feeling you could prove your dough in the fridge overnight although I haven't tried it myself, but did find this http://www.baking911.com/bread/coolrise.htm

Sheila is right, Heather, you can rise a yeast dough in the fridge overnight.

Thank you so much for the information Sheila! I passed it on to my friend and we'll see how it works!

I do have my costume already. The theme this year is "country/farm". Meaning anything from farm like setting stuff (hill billys, rednecks, animals), cowboys and all the way to country music stuff.
In all actuality, as long as you are dressed up in something other than your every day clothes, you're allowed to party with us. :)

I have an old dress that'll pass for a country girl thing.. I've worn it before to a party, but it was years ago.
And, I used to actually wear this same dress to school. I've had it for at least 13 years and I bought it at the salvation army. :)

Here's one image of the dress.

I'm on the right.

Use cold water and do them before she goes to bed, works as a charm, I have done it many times.

My friend made her bread, not sure if it sat in the fridge over night or not, but it was yummy!!!!

And the costume party was a blast. I'll try to get pictures up soon.
