Hi everybody
well am slowly getting back into the swing of things. My pc problems are finally over.
First things went broke, then I could only read on ivillage but not post.. between the service provider and various silly technicians, am up and running now.

So am taking advantage of your all smart brains!

I was in the supermarket this am and they have a tiny tv screen going there.

Showing a lovely (to me it looked lovely) salad but NO salad dressing!!
gggrrr gggrr that's how I walked away. but I thought, perhaps people here can tell me how to dress this thing up, as I want to try it.

It had in it
raw spinache
1 diced red onion
some lovely nuts (I forgot what kinds of nuts but I thought it was the same kinds of nuts as go into a walldorf salad)
a very thinly sliced pear

then the screen went black?!

What would be THE most delicious dressing to go on top of this please?
I am OPEN to all sorts of advice!!
greets from that old brush

Well, Girl Friend, until you got to the fruit, I was headed straight for the traditional hot bacon dressing, but THAT won't work well with fruit!

aha! a raspberry vinegrette. I have that thing at home.. So there is only one thing!! This very eve, I will try this..

Guess what I found... on my shelf??? slivered almonds.. I thought since I don't have the walnuts... I'd like to try that instead.... and maybe tomorrow I'd try the sunflower seed.

But am sold now on this spinache salad with the pear....

eh eh, saw another one on another of them tv sets. But what them things have against me, goodness only knows. As this one...

had
a mango
1 quarter of pineapole
1 can of jackfruit
1 quarter of at least 3 kinds of melons.
1 half papaya

then they cubed it all and and and... poured in a bit of olive oil and lime juice..

am I wetting your tastesbuds with this one?

I thought that it would be a nice one instead of the heavy handed indonesian fruit salad with coconut milk...

aaah, we all need something new once in a while... Old Mac is a bit too far out of the way for me.. so am going to have a look at the shelve in the grocerystore tomorrow.. Hub is home and he can hold the ford then.

aaah, I missed you all. these infrenal pc's and their probs!! not to speak of the service provider. It was a prob. that could have been fixed 3 years ago already, if any of us had know what was meant with the warning signal: low connectivity...pfffff.
pcs. greets from brush!
