My son will be coming home from his first real fishing experience and I need to find some tasty ways to cook salmon.

OMG, Patty, this in one of my favorite deals, salmon.
I would die to have such fresh fish!!! Fish that is as fresh as what your son is bringing home shouldn't smell fishy!
Did you know that fresh caught (even if they've been frozen on the boat) tuna don't smell anything like tuna from a can? Fresh tuna is heavenly!!
I like the recipes Karen gave you. I think I'm going to have to see if I can find Teriyaki here for the next time I have salmon...
Generally I just toss the fish in the oven with a bit of pepper and lemon on it.
I used to cover it with a bit of mayo, to preserve the moisture, but that makes it even more greasy. These days I use sour cream instead.
And to add desire to my fresh fish/seafood lust.. my youngest brother (who called me via Skype!) told me that my dad was out scuba diving for fish yesterday (Mon). *drool*
I hope the fish was yummy. Let us know how it turned out!
