Cheesecake is a dessert..and I get (most) dessert!! Besides the coffee house I worked in made the most amazing cheesecake I've ever had.

I'll be comparing my recipe to the very similar one down below.
By the way, I'll be making two cheese cakes for my wedding reception in two weeks. *drool*

I know what you mean about hamburger and the confusion. I too think of hamburger as the patties.. In Finnish it too is called ground meat..but my DH and I have always called it "hamburger".

But there are lots of words that can be confusing in different cultures and languages.

Try to figure out paste and pure.


You have to be come more Finnish learn to love mämmi or how it is spelled.


I have big book of cheese cake but I still love more the Swedish kind.

We call in mince meat here (ground beef/chicken etc) and hamburgers, are the pattie with bread roll, cheese etc. and the actual hamburger patties are called rissoles.

That is why I love you Karen, you make recipes understandable.


Here in Sweden, the nearest we used to have to hamburgers was Hackbiff ( which is origin of the hamburger) or pannbiff
