Oh no not the painting on velvet!!! I'm not sure if the dressed ducks and chickens made it over here, but I do remember harvest gold appliances LOL

When we did our living room up a few years ago we went with very neutral colours with some accents of yellows and reds, and when it was finished DH and I looked around and said well it looks great now but wonder how our kids will remember it, would it be in much the same way that DH & I both remember our parents vivid patterened carpets and wallpaper, only time will tell ;-)

Oh Yucky!! I hated that 70's decorating style!!
I spent a long time tearing up shag carpeting in most likely the same lovely orange you had in your mobile home!Who knows what was living in there after 30 years eh?
My one friend had this psychedelic wallpaper in her bathroom and kitchen it was silver with orange and green and the paper in the bathroom was chocolate brown, silver and white.
if that doesn't give you a headache then I don't think anything would!LOL!

Harvest Gold!!Ewwww! and don't forget that burnt orange and green colour too!
I lived in an apartment with pink tiles and green fixtures...
Can we say nauseating?? and if that wasn't bad enough there was black tile trim too! Blech!

I went to the carpet store a few weeks ago and they had shag carpet there in all these really disgusting colours!! Purple, pink, green, yellow, blue and white!!
White shag????? are they for real???

I don't get it!

I've really been enjoying the shows on HGTV where they tear stuff like that OUT, Nathalie!
