Oh Karen, that sounds like it was sooo much fun! I especially loved the stories that people were telling about their weenies that they were roasting!! Winnie*Giggles Hysterically* I think that would be a really cool tradition to have every year and maybe in the future your co-workers could bring side dishes to the weenie roast! I haven't been to a weenie roast in years, and I also loved to make SMORES too when I used to go to weenie roasts! It sounds like you had so much fun and it was too bad that you forgot your camera, because I bet some of the pictures would have been priceless! Winnie *Giggles* and *Winks* ;-)

For Melissa, Sheila, and the rest of you wo did not grow up in rural USA, this is what a weinie roast looks like:

I have no idea who those people are, but that's how you do it.

Weinie roasts are most common way of BBQ in Sweden, that is what most people calls a good BBQ.

What a great, fun thing to do! I love stuff like that where everybody is on the same level :)
I work in a "stuffy" and "conservative" government office and we have a great reperesentation of all ethnic groups....... we have quarterly "pigouts" where every team is assigned a food and then you bring it in.
It gets rotated all the time so you don't always get stuck bringing in the salads!
there are 200 to 300 of us at any given time of the year.

Twicw a year they do a burger BBQ outside to raise money for the local charities and that is fun too...because we are the ones taking calls from the public alll day we get a "Speed Pass" so we can go to the front of the line and get our burgers without having to wait too long.
