I have several knit cotton long dresses that I absolutely love, especially this past summer.They are a lot cooler when it's 100 degrees with high humidity than wearing shorts or capris.
Something for every season: I have a 25 year-old Ralph Lauren cropped denim jacket that still looks like new, goes over anything and always feels comfortable, a red cashmere sweater I look forward to wearing every fall, a teal washable-silk maxi column dress (I swear it makes me look and feel 5 inches taller), and a batik sundress with a keyhole back that always gets compliments from strangers.
I feel good when I have my spanx on ;-) Lol...is that cheating?? I wear them any time I have a dress or skirt on and sometimes I even wear them under dress pants. Apparently I'm a revoluntionary too, because this article talks about "chub rub" (that's what it's called??) which is the primary reason I wear them!!
By the way, chub rub is a terrible name! Ugh. I also meant to mention, a pair of heels also does wonder for your shape.
