This is party food that we had when the whole neighborhood would show up at our house to watch the Saturday Night movie on TV.

I can relate!
I don't remember Saturday night snacks,except popcorn,from a popper,
maybe Koolade.
But on Sunday nights, when we watched Disney, my Mom would make a pizza
from a box mix, and we'd all be in heaven, munching on our slice of heaven!
(there were six of us,so not much to share!!)

LOL
I used that trick...adding extra flour for a huge rectangle pizza
to feed my two hungry atheletic boys and hubby for a long time.
They don't think a pizza is authentic anymore unless it has
Mom's secret ingredient... kielbassa!!
Yum!!

we do it like you and try to keep the grease off!
I like it with ground beef fried with onions, drained,
veggies like peppers, olives, mushrooms and of course
sauce and cheese.

When we are in Seattle we get a pizza there with
alfredo sauce,layered with mozzarella, salmon,
onion, olives, green pepper.
Season with oregano, salt& pepper.
Top with parmesan cheese
Yum!
