For most programs, you will need to do the blocking from your computer, mobile versions may not have all the features required for blocking.

ANDROID (Google) PHONES

There are many apps available in your Application Market.

The one I use is ADVANCED CALLER CONTROL (paid) and can be found in the Android Market. There is a free version and a three dollar version. I happen to have the paid version. (support the little guys who make this possible.)

It is pretty simple to add the phone numbers that you want to block.

Open App and the rest is easy.

It is also handy for block spam phone calls and spam texts if you get them. (I get bunches.)

Be prepared............go forth and meet the enemy……………..with silence.

We only miss what could have been. I know I don't miss what it really was.

Twitter

There are two things you need to do on Twitter.

Linkedin

Linkedin is NOT like facebook.

First off, looking at someone's profile is not anonymous. I found this out after my bleark moment today clicking on "who has viewed my profile in the last 30 days" and got a second bleark moment. This should also serve as a warning to those who are considering cyberstalking on Linkedin (but we don't have any enders like that on EAS, right? ;) )

Second, you can't block on Linkedin. What you can do is:

1. You can remove xAP from your connections.

2. Hide your public profile, so it doesn't show up if someone googles your name, it doesn't stop someone logged on to linkedin to see it.

3. You can make your profile pic visible to connections only

4. You can limit what is part of your profile is visible to the public. You can even modify your public name to firstname lastname initial only. All this will limit networking possibilities, but it will not change the profile your connections sees.

ANDROID PHONE (New)

I would like to add that I have changed to "CALL FILTER" for Android.

We only miss what could have been. I know I don't miss what it really was.

Depending on the type of blocking you have done for your e-mails, you may still get some unwanted e-mails pushed to your smart phone.
