Weekend madness

With summer vacations for the children either done with, or soon to be over, do you go through any weekend rituals or food type festivals at home?
I've got a birthday to celebrate this weekend for one turning 12. Cooking for 10 children and 6 adults will take 15 pounds of pork shoulder, two heads of cabbage, 24 burger bunns, and 6 bags of assorted chips along with two gallons of ice cream and a full sheet cake. This weekend ritual (birthday's are celebrated on weekends) marks the next to last major summer type all day cook-out for me. Just labor day to go through now.
