I wonder if an experienced pickler could help me with a question. I can't figure out if I need to leave "headspace" in the pickled carrots I am making. The recipes don't really specify. Does anyone make these and could guide me on this? The recipe I use has vinegar, garlic, dill, a bit of sugar but no water. Thanks!
