Do you often 'kick up' things from your pantry?
My mom served green beans with mushroom soup forcompany. (I consider the canned fried onions completelyoptional.) We still call them Berge beans after the pastorwe served them to, 25 years ago.
I rarely use the bottled spaghetti sauce; my homemadeis just so excellent. I make a huge batch, sometimesI freeze part. Sauted onions, garlic, and equal parts basil, thyme and oregano improve a canned sauce.
Home canned green beans are delicious on their own!
