Michigan Senate passes bill to allow religious bullying in schools

"The Republicans have taken Orwellian irony over the top. The Michigan Senate has pushed through an "anti-bullying" bill for the public school system.
The law is named after Matt Epling who killed himself at the age of 14 after being bullied.
Shame is the key word. To allow religious bullying (aka evangelizing or proselytizing) in our public schools where students are supposed to be in a safe learning environment, separate from religious politics or any other kind of politics, is so wrong on so many levels. Want religion (of any kind) spouted at your kids by school administrators or teachers, pay and send them to a religious private school. Or home-school. They want to turn our country into Baharan, Iran or China, or other countries where religion poisons gov't, where totalitarian gov't persecute if you believe in the wrong religion or believe in religion of any kind... People in our gov't are trying to do that here, in the U.S., where we are all supposed to have religious freedom, and our gov't and all its branches (including public schools) are supposed to be SECULAR, and not allow the pushing of any religion on any citizen. UGH! :(
