What is a good dish to serve the first night of a family beach vacation? I want to make something at home that I can take with us that will be easy to prepare and serve once we get to the beach. Thanks!

Just cook one of their favorite meals, whether that
be chili and cornbread, spaghetti, tacos, etc. My
family absolutely loves spaghetti, so that would be
their choice for the first night (second night if
I freeze the sauce solid).

Thanks! Great idea. I am thinking maybe Sloppy Joes so I can make the meat ahead of time and then just heat it up once we get there.

Hi! Thanks for your input. We went with sloppy joes and that worked well. Supplemented with a giant pan of Stouffer's Mac & Cheese, and everyone seemed to be happy!
