freezing cheesecake?

i plan on making 2 cheesecakes today. with the already made grahm cracker crust. since i have a small family i wanted to freeze one. how do i cover it and how long will it keep?

ps. karen i got my kitty :D friday, i let dh pick her out cause he was stuck on her lol. jonathan was a little scared but now he cant seem to leave her alone. DH also named her kit kat. it was either that or kitty LOL something easy for ds to say. we bought her this HUGE cat tree house it will be here tomorrow along with her scratching post. she was born sept 2001 (all the kittens were sold). she is adorable always napping with DH and she sleeps on both of us at night. lastnight we had the whole family in bed LOL

And yay on the kitty. I've been yearning for another kitty. Sigh. I guess I'll have to unofficially adopt my bf's although I don't see the kitty that often. Can't really get another one because my cat would hate me. lol She's a bit of a princess. And lol @ naming your new edition kit-cat. I know someone who once named their kitty KC (for kitty-cat).
