Most likely in the children's section. Ever since Sophie was born I can't seem to buy enough books for her. She already has 2 whole bookcases full of books but I just love them all.
Em - you and Tracy must be wonderful Moms - - I think children with books is so Great!! They grow up reading and just are far ahead of those that don't.
I SO agree. I worked in the kiddie section of the library while in high school. I have too many kiddie lit books that are my "favorite" to choose. My kids love books too. Guess it's because they have both had 2-3 read to them every night since they were born. It's their favorite thing. My almost 2 year old already has favorites he begs for. We are on the third bookcase full for them. Also, I flea market and antique store hunted for 3 years and was able to find all the Nancy Drew hardbacks to pass on to my daugher. I didn't get the original printings, but the yellow spined ones from the 60's and 70's (the ones I grew up with). I am very proud of that collection.
Aw Tracy, that is so wonderful - - all those books AND you reading them all the time! Your kids are certainly blessed with a great Mommie!! TOo Cool on the Nancy Drews!! That's a great hobbie too I bet - - searching for the books.
I have very fond memories of my bedtime stories that my Dad read to me...and begging to please read the next chapter too!(lol)
You should be proud, Tracy! My co-worker also collects Nancy Drews... she always has me on the lookout. She doesn't have any children but just likes them for herself and she still reads them at 47! LOL Got to be something special about those books!
My oldest daughter is a reader but my youngest you have to FORCE to read.. lol. My husband and I also love to read. He likes Civil War books and I like historical romances... (blush)... lol.
You can always find me with my head buried in computer software books, specifically web programming and graphics section. I'm a certified webmaster, go figure, LOL!
At certain times of year that just happen to correspond with my niece's and nephew's birthdays, I'll be happily on the floor of the children's book section, looking through things like "And the Dish Ran Away with the Spoon" and other silly tales.
And, I'll bet you thought I would say cookbooks. hehehe.

That and the gardening section.
Then, if still time, the political stuff.
