It was easy to make and tastes Much better than the box or bag kind you find in the store. And it makes a LOT. Probably about 6 servings or more.
This recipe calls for a jar of Ortega Salsa-Thick & Chunky . . . but really you could use whatever variety you like. We used the "Medium" heat, but, next time I'll use a Mild type cause this had some Heat!
Also, it calls for 1 large carrot peeled and 1/2 cup frozen peas. I'm lazy, so instead I just used 3/4 cup of frozen pees and carrots. Came out fine.
