Theresa,

Hello and welcome to the board. I had done some DBT therapy with an old tdoc in the past year. It does have it's benefits, and is a good tool to use to help with difficult situations. This mindfullness can even help with pain control, so I think it is a good therapy to be aware of.

Here is a link for anyone who would like to see the 4 basic skills and modules that are used to do DBT.

http://www.dbtselfhelp.com/html/dbt_skills_list.html

You can click on each module and learn about each one individually.

The 4 basic skills are:

1. Mindfullness (Wise Mind)

2. Interpersonal Effectiveness

3. Emotional Regulation

4. Distress Tolerence
