Started the "Love Dare" based on the movie FireProof

Hello,
Has anyone else done the "Love Dare"? It is based off the movie Fireproof and my family life group at church has started the 40 day (althought we are doing it in 80 days) study. My fiance and I are participating together.

i think what has been revealed to me this day is my bitterness. it started as frustration. it became anger and now bitterness. Thank you God for revealing it to me. I repent of it. I ask you to plant a tree in my bitter water to make it sweet. Thank you God!!!!!

The toughest part was getting started but I'm glad i made it thru the first few days! I don't want to allow bitterness to take root. I want to feel blessed in Christ. So glad i didn't give up.
I did it. Well, I did 37 of the 40 days. My husband and I started it together, but around day 6 or 7 my father-in-law died, so my husband didn't continue. I went all the way to day 37. I don't know why I stopped. I guess I figured I had done most of it, and DH wasn't responding anyway, so I just didn't bother with the last 3 days.
I was pretty frustrated through most of it. It took about 14 days or so before it started getting into things that were relevant to me. All of the daily "dares" were things I do on a regular basis anyway. Then when my FIL died, my husband became unresponsive to everything. He didn't even notice I was doing it. Not that I did it for his acknowledgement completely, but it might have helped me feel better about it if he had been responding at least a little.
I might go through it again, but it's only been 5 months since my FIL passed away, so I don't know... DH said he would start it again, but it's been sitting on the coffee table for a week and he hasn't even picked it up, so I guess he isn't going to do it.
