I had a little recipe card box for the first year i was married but i never used them.

I also use a binder with printer recipes.

I've done the same thing you did, a giant binder with all of my recipes printed off, in plastic protector sleeves :-) I agree that it works SO GREAT! I love it! Just for fun I added colors and clip art to most of mine, and printed certain recipes (like our family faves) on different colors/prints. It's so much easier!!!

We're down in Mcallen...near the coast :-) Not too far from Houston, really...I'm a transplanted Minnesotan, though I LOVE TX! Nice to meet all of you here!!!!!

Not doing much cooking today, actually...DH & DD went to the in-laws but I am 37 weeks pregnant and need to be a little closer to the bathroom (it's a long drive) ;-)

I went to college in Stillwater, OK - so the milder winters kinda "broke me in" I think...I actually never liked all of the MN snow and cold, and moving further south was even better for me! I LOVE it down here...warm weather suits me :-)
