I'm thinking I need to do a crock-pot something as we are "planning" on beginning painting my oak cabinets in the kitchen and I need something simple and out of the way.


We have no idea if this will work, but, plan to start with the island and wash and sand all the wood.

I put my chicken on at 10:00 am yesterday (cooked on low and turned down to 'serve' at 4:30) and it was a little dry.

Isn't it wonderful having Mom so close?! I live across the street from my parents and I thank God every day for it! And people make fun of my DH thinking it's like Raymond! LOL! He always says, "Buying that house was the best money I ever spent!" Especially now that we have Baby #1 on the way! Mom will sure come in handy then!

Just since Saturday! LOL!! I figure we're good for tonight and tomorrow! LOL!! Then I'll have to figure something out for Thursday!

I don't have to rush out the door for Scouts tonight (Hollyann has the same bug now that Tristan had over the weekend), so I can take my time with dinner tonight.

I will be making stuffed peppers, hopefully. I bought some gorgeous, huge red peppers a few days ago, and I am hoping that they are still firm enough to make this dish. If not, we'll just eat the stuffing as-is! lol
