Today is my monthly girls get-together here at my house - a group of about 7 gals in the neighborhood, sahm's, gather here for good food and chit-chat. I'm sure there will be plenty of leftovers, including the ham and bean soup that I made, so we'll be eating that for dinner.

Works out very well, too, because Tristan and hubby have a Cub Scout Pack meeting tonight, so I won't have to rush to make dinner for them!

No more Chinese! DH finished it for lunch today! I won't be cooking tonight...there is a Halloween party at my Grandpa's nursing home and they will be having a bufett dinner which is usually pretty good actually. So we will be dining there tonight!

I think I'm having a repeat of last night - pulled pork sandwiches and potato chips. I made the pork in the crockpot earlier this week. I'm amazed that I can make pulled pork! I just threw a cheap pork roast in with some onion and barbecue sauce. And that evening it was delicious!

Let's see - since this morning was very hectic and I didn't take the pork chops out to thaw that I had planned for dinner we'll have to go to Plan B. So, I guess that means we'll have some frozen Barber chicken breasts (always keep some in the freezer for these types of nights, lol!) Cordon Bleu, and I'll make a noodle side dish with some sugar peas.

Hey there Harmony!!

Sounds like good eating to me...lots of CHEESE!!(lol)

Harmony, you HAVE to try the Cola CHops if you like pork chops....Cola Chops is a recipe down in the Recipe Section, have to click "MORE" and it is a ways back...it is DEEEEEELish and so easy.

Have a wonderful dinner, and let me know how that Betty Crocker Apple Bake turns out...sounds yummy!!

Well, Cgirl, now you have ME convinced to try this pulled pork....when I lived in Austin Texas that was one of our favorite sandwiches.......there was a really cool shop that sold these HuMONgous pulled pork sandwiches and they sold Banana Pudding in little cups for dessert!!
