LOL - it all depends on the day and moment I am saying it, whether I say supper or dinner!! On average, I would have to say we call it supper. "Dinner" is what we have as a late lunch on Sundays. (My OldEnglish grandmother used to call the lunchtime meal dinner and the evening meal supper)

Tonight I will be serving the meal that I originally planned for Monday - Lemon-Peppered Lime Chicken. I hadn't thawed the meat out in time to properly marinate it, so I'm making it today!

Vanilla ice cream with magic shell! LOL! I have been dreaming about it!

Okay, I'll have that for dessert.

I think I will have a salad for dinner - and THEN my ice cream!

Growing up, it was always supper, but now living in New England, people look at me funny if I called it that. So, I've acclimated and its "dinner" now. Same with the ATM. I used to call it a MAC (money access center). When I moved here and asked where a MAC was, people had NO idea what I was talking about!

So, for dinner tonight, I have no idea what I'll be having. But, a salad sounds so good after the QOTD topic. I wonder if we have any lettuce at home...

MAC!! Now THERE'S a term I haven't heard in ages!!!! When we lived in PA, that's what they were called (big blue sign on them even said MAC). Once we got into the Navy and started moving around, even within the States, people still gave us odd looks!! Seems to be more of a regional thing even within the US, let alone around the world! LOL

I have not had magic shell in a long time either. I was dreaming about it last night, so I thought I'd go and buy some later.

I suppose that is a good way to look at it - ice cream has lots of calcium!

I remember calling them MAC as well. Now it's just ATM.

Also, I hate the word supper, so I always say dinner. My mom uses supper a lot and it's just one of those words that drives me crazy! LOL! That and "Oleo"! Oh! I hate that word too!

I think tonight I'll make the bowtie pasta with brocooli and ham in an alfredo sauce that I was planning on the other night when DH surprised me with take out.
