I LOVE the Good Eats show on FooD TV....I learn so much stuff on that show!


Last night Alton Brown, the nerdy host, talked all about onions.....THen he made French Onion Soup in his electric skillet...I HAVE an ELECTRIC SKILLET!!(lol)....Have not used it in ages but found it when cleaning out the cabinets to paint.....


I abslolutely love French onion soup....with that big hunk of toasted hearty bread with the cheese oozing....oh YUM....so, I'm going to try his recipe soon....I HAVE the little crocks to stick under the broiler to melt the cheese so I SHOuld do this!(lol)...Here's His recipe...

Oh, I love that show!! It's almost one of those "so-dumb-it's-good" types of shows!! lol And Alton Brown sure does a good job at making anyONE feel like they can make anyTHING!!

I just may have to try that French Onion recipe. With all the soups I make, I've never made that and it's one of hubby's favs!! lol
