ALready Monday.....

It's supposed to be stormy here in Arkansas, so this Might be the day I stick around and try my hand at those cloverleaf rolls I keep meaning to bake...

Anybody doing some cooking today?

Heating up some leftovers for dinner?

Saying to heck with it and going out tonight?

What's cooking??

I think tonight may be simple spaghetti and meatballs, salad and garlic bread. That just sounds really good!

Daisy...raking day at your house sounds like so much fun!!

I BET you've got some leaves.....so cool that you can have that campfire...

We had an enormous oak tree back in St.Louis with humongous leaves....we'd rake and get like 40 bags Just from that one tree....down here we just have the smaller leaves and we chop them up and they make Wonderful compost.

I think simple is best lots of times.....

Carrie...how do you do Garlic bread?....we do ours with olive oil brushed on Italian bread slices and sprinkled with garlic salt...sometimes I put minced garlic in the oil for a couple minutes and then brush that on...then under the broiler.

Hey everyone! I'm still trying to decide what to have for dinner tonight. I've been a little bad about preplanning lately. I think it will just be pasta with jar sauce (already have that at home - I'll spice it up a little myself) and I'm going to stop at the store on the way home for some salad fixings. I've been vegetable deprived lately. And I think I'll copy Carrie's garlic bread idea - that sounds like the perfect comfort food to go with my pasta.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I just think we're doing pizza tonight. I cooked a big dinner last night for my parents and us as they just got home from a week in Hawaii. We had summer squash bake and roasted pork loin stuffed with long grain and wild rice and spinach.
