Anise Biscotti gone amuck...

Where did I go wrong?

I found a recipe for Anise Biscotti that sounded great! I put the ingredients together - they seemed a bit dry. I cooked them up in bricks, then sliced the bricks to rebake, hoping for some delightfully crisp hard cookies. Instead they turned out like baked cookie dough. Ugh.

Does anyone have a recipe for Biscotti that has turned out good for them? I have a dairy allergy but can use soy oleo instead of the milk products. I think if I got a basic biscotti recipe, I could season them any way I wanted. Got suggestions?

I'm sorry but I know Nothing about making biscotti....


If you hang tight, tho, one of the other ladies here might be able to help you out.


In the mean time, I'll look and see if I find any recipes myself...and if I find something that might be helpful, I'll post for you down in desserts.


Sorry your batch didn't work out like you had hoped, and maybe we can find something better.
