This year we are going TO Thanksgiving, but, dh Still has to have his *own* Thanksgiving so he can get a Turkey (lol)...so Friday we'll fix "our" dinner...

Fixing...

*12 Pound Turkey....*may* try the upside down trick
*Sausage stuffing
*Something Cranberry....I saw some show where they dumped sugar and orange juice....
*Green bean casserole....will do the recipe below with the bread crumbs
*Stuffed Sweet Potatoes....have to find the recipe from FoodTV....saw it on Tyler somebody show
*Rolls....Home MADE if at all possible (lol)
*Pumpkin Crunch probably for dessert.....or something pumpkin

That's what I'm thinking for now....may add another veggie if I can find something...

Well we're going to DH's parents for Thanksgiving so it won't be all that great mil isn't much of a cook and she won't let us bring anything so...

But if it were my dream Thanksgiving it would be Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, my gramma's bread stuffing, Cranberry relish (cranberries, fresh orange juice, a little sugar all blended up mmm mmm mmm), homemade rolls, green bean casserole, summer squash bake, and lots of different pies for dessert.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Hugs,

Emily and Sophie

We are having turkey, of course, stuffing, mashed potatoes, fresh broccoli and salad. i don't make desserts since I'm diabetic and don't need them and my husband would rather have the big meal instead of dessert.
