Help with Salsa Storage

I read an article about making salsa for holiday gifts and thought it was a great idea. Only now that I have 12 jars of salsa, I don't know how long it will last. Do I wax the top? Does it need to stay refrigorated? Any advice on canning salsa would be much appreciated.

We also like to make our own salsa. I don't personally know anything about canning it, but I was interested myself so I looked it up. Here are a few websites with info.....
