I was thinking about you last night while watching the news...they were talking about churches in our area renting out theatre's as well to watch it. Even the radio station that I referred you and Renee to has a special going this morning to go watch it! Can I ask if "you" liked it? Did your daughters go with you to watch it, if so...how old are they? I know that DSO wants to see it, but I was wondering if we should wait until a time when we don't have his son with us. If you don't feel comfortable answering my questions on here, you can email me... jnrob25@comcast.net

Would you consider it to be antisemetic?

Thank you so much for your "take" on the movie. It sounds like something that I might have to experience, but will probably be leaving DSO's son at home, since he's only 11. I did hear that it was pretty graphic and wasn't sure if even I could handle it! I wondered if it was sad/emotional, but I wasn't sure how to bring that question in to play...but you covered that one as well ("Bring a hanky").

Thanks again Daisy, I'm glad your family enjoyed it!

No, Julie, I did not consider it antisemetic.

Thanks, Daisy :)

I'm interested in seeing it, because although I am Jewish, I'm not very religious and don't really know much beyond what I can remember from attending religious school when I was a kid.

Thanks so much for your response!

You are RIGHT Daisy! In fact his last words ( i think they were his last - I'm not scriptorian) were 'Father Forgive them for they know not what they do' and then "He gave up the Ghost" You right again. They could not take his life - he gave it up he had the power to lay down his life and to take it up agian.

Can't wait to see it!

Thank you for your post Daisy. At first I thought - no way do I want to see this movie, but I started to change my mind. DH and I were just discussing the movie right before I read your post and I said I would like to see it. Now for sure I would like to see it.

Thanks again for posting - just goes to show how well connected we all are - just do not have to discuss food all the time (lol).

Take care

Sandy
