Well, I have to admit that I got caught up in the dowloading thing for quite a while.
~Carrie(who thinks most of the download wars could disappear if the record companies would just price the CD lower!)
Yes, cd's are expensive, but I never pay more than $10 for one - I go to discount stores or the used cd stores, etc. No artist is worth more than that to me! LOL!
I do like napster now that you can pay $.99 for one song...my beef with cd's is that I'd buy a whole cd for like 1 or 2 songs and I never liked the rest! So, I am glad now that you can buy individual songs...I prefer a "mix" of music rather than listening to one particular cd the whole time driving, or whatever.
If I want to look at porn, that is what I am paying to be able to do, the same with coloring pages I print off to color.. The website that allows music is for us to use. The same with the ABC news videos.
My family buys lots of CDS and for that matter movies too.So is this the same as taking a VCR tape and putting it into your vcr and taping Dr. Phil, The Guiding Light or a NASCAR race - Am I stealing?
I know what you mean, Renee... we buy tons of videos/cd's & dvd's too.
