Group Sex Among Teens: A Growing Public Health Concern

More than 7% of teen girls have engaged in multi-person sex, a new study reports – and half of them said they were threatened or forced into the act.
The most shocking detail of the study, which was published in the Journal of Urban Health: Bulletin of the New York Academy of Medicine, is the number of young women who reported having been coerced into multi-person sex. Of the 7.3% who admitted to having multi-person sex (MPS), 52% reported being pressured, and 43% reported being threatened or forced.
Additionally, in 45% of the girls’ most recent reported MPS experience, at least one male had not used a condom. A strong link appears to exist between multi-person sex and pornography viewing.
