CVS was recently in the news when a pharmacist refuesd to sell the morning-after pill to a man :

According to the man who was attempting to purchase the pill, the pharmacist told him that

I am strongly pro-life so I don't think this pill should be sold to ANYONE. Male, female, behind the counter, anywhere!! The pharmacist did the right thing.
What does being pro-life have to do with it? Plan B is not an abortifacient. It is a large dose of birth control. If you are already pregnant it will not do anything, including causing an abortion. I don't know how I feel about him purchasing it but I believe it should be available, as I am prochoice.
2) I think Plan B should be legal and easily available, and preferably not age limited. I don't have a big problem with it being behind the counter (so is sudafed) as long as it's available.
3) what right does the pharmacist have to impose her beliefs on her customers? as long as it's a legal medication, the customer has a right to purchase the medication, and it's an unwarranted limitation on the customer's personal health choices for the pharmacist to say "I don't believe in the medication so I'm not going to sell it to you."
4) ideally the woman would buy her own Plan B, but I think a man should be able to purchase it, as long as it's not used in a coercive manner towards the woman.
