Online Budgeting Tool

Do you have an online budgeting tool you use that you like? I had a spreadsheet but it was in my old computer so now I want a free downlaodable one. I tried Mint.com a few years ago and didn't like it. I want one that I can control more. I have always just written it down but my DH like is on the computer.

I haven't found a budgeting tool that I really like either. We used quicken years ago, but got out of the habit of entering everything. We use mint now, but I'm not that crazy about it. Dave Ramsey has some budgeting forms for downloading. Some friends use pear budget, but I haven't looked into it yet. Good luck! Let us know if you find something that you like.

No, and I didn't like Mint one bit...I didn't like that I couldn't figure out how to bypass the account numbers part...I don't WANT my account numbers online!!!

I have used Microsoft Money for years, but they discontinued it. :(

We use Mint, and I really like it. They have an app that I always use on my phone, too. I love how easy it is. We have an Excel spreadsheet, too.

Hi- So I am sucked back into Mint again. Here is what I don't like... You know how the categorize it for it? So let's say I go to Target and buy groceries, gifts and pharmacy. There is no way I can split so my budget isn't reflected accurately. I have to put i under one category right?

You should be able to split the transaction into categories. I can do it when I go to the website (I haven't tried it on the mobile app). You select the transaction, choose "edit details," and there should be a "split" option in the upper right hand corner. You should then be able to use multiple categories for the transaction. That's how I do it, anyway. I don't know if there's an easier way.
