I'm not a dieter either. The more I try the worse I eat. I think I focus too much on food when trying to diet so instead I opt for
M&Ms (Moderation and Movement)
Not really dieting, as in a weight loss diet, but combining G.I. Diet and Ornish for health reasons (I'm diabetic, and DH is a stroke survivor).
