What would you like to do this year that would enable you to take charge of your own health ?

Why does doing our own research turn up more questions than there are answers?

Just recently had a "Physical" and I have a new health-care provider.

Being more pro-active in my health this year 2012.

I feel the same way, Promise. I now realize that I got into a depression, plus the winter didn't help. We will also go on a vacation soon.

I am fed up spending the last seven years in doctors' offices and all. I am going to try new exercises, lose weight and perhaps St John's Wort or something. I also want to play the piano and sing again even though it has been years and I know I will suck. I will see where it leads me. I have so many lost dreams, frustrations and regrets, but I will just take it one day at a time...

Yep! So true! I think I have a lot of fear, anger and self esteem issues related to my pain. I feel that my brain has changed as well.

I know what you mean. I know that pain isn't a figment of our imagination but I think, to a point, we make our pain worse. Not deliberately but more because we resent that we can't do things so push our bodies beyond their limits just to get back to normal.

It is true as well, Promise! It is so frustrating!

St John's Wort has been amazing!! I have been taking it for a few days now and my knees are not red hot warm anymore, I am less depressed plus my legs feel much better!
