Cutting a few calories at a time can help you to lose weight.

At a restaurant or fast food place order a side salad with the dressing on the side instead of fries!
Choose a low calorie frozen grilled sandwich or panini to replace a butter-rich grilled cheese.
Choose 4 ounces of sugar-free yogurt in place of an 8 ounce container of yogurt.
Measuring foods like cooked pasta, rice, and cereal. Its easy to go overboard on how much is in a serving. The measured serving is usually an ample amount.
Using an olive oil sprayer to put oil on a salad, bread, etc. I have trouble pouring a small amount from a cruet or bottle but the sprayer releases a mist which coats the food evenly but lightly.

Choose light yogurt made with a no-calorie sweetener.
Choose meats that are leaner and contain less fat and remove the skin from poultry.
When you want an alcoholic drink
Choose no sugar added fruit juices if you want to drink something other than water.
