Is it a good idea to warm up with some stretching before walking? Do you have to?

Good question! I usually do some stretching after I walk because my muscles are warmed up. What about you?

Not sure excatly HOW to warm up without causing injury to my already feeble muscles... I usually go out to walk , start slow, and pick up the pace as I get to feeling looser...

I think it depends on the kind of walking you're going to do. The only time I warm up is if my walk will exceed 20 minutes with varying terrain. But if I'm just headed to the corner market then I'll skip the warm up.
