I'm looking for tips on coping with a boss who is determined to be a bully.

You're probably not going to like this, and you might disagree, but I would not recommend you continue to complain to HR.

I agree with Liz. This person sounds like she is making a case against you and she has the ear of management. That puts you at a disadvantage. Filing complaints isn't going to make your case better, it makes you look like a complainer. I would recommend trying your best at what you do, make your work known to others, and maybe start job shopping for a new gig. Sorry you are dealing with a workplace bully.

If you feel like you are being dealt with unfairly, HR should always be a safe place to go, especially if your job is being threatened. I stay stand up for yourself, but get out of there as quickly as possible! Brush up your resume and start looking for another job. Good luck!
