His father was born in another country.

I personally find it odd that his birth certificate took a while to be produced and that his own grandmother says he was born elsewhere, but I believe the birth certificate was produced. We have a chance to replace him soon though, so it will no longer matter. We conservatives may not speak up as much because people love to bash us -- so many liberals cannot seem to fathom that someone may disagree, they seem so surprised that there is another side or perspective and that it should be respected and they resort to just saying we are wrong rather than respectfully disagreeing -- but there are a lot of us. Hopefully we can come together and bring a new person into the white house.

This might explain the difficulties of educated conservatives:

Can't say the author makes a good case for exonerating liberals, though.

Obama released his birth certificate in 2008, so no, it didn't "take a while to be produced."

As far as his grandmother is concerned, are you talking about the Kenyan grandmother that he saw once in his life? The one that an "interpreter" misinterpreted what she said?

With the current crop of nutty GOP candidates, good luck on the coming election. Looks like it will be four more years of Obama.

I believe we are at a critical point for the survival or demise of this country, and we may not be able to recover from four more years of Obama. Nutty? God, I wish he was just nutty.

I'm not a huge Obama fan as a social liberal and fiscal conservative , but I'm slightly more comfortable with his position in the framing of the current debates. GOP against the womens' health, income inequality, war in the ME. IMO, there will be 4 more years of the Obama admin, and unless the Republicans find the center, they may go back to the Goldwater years (who appears to be a model of moderation compared to these guys). The old white men are fading away.

Bye Bye

I can't even imagine the trouble this country will be in if voters are struck by mass insanity and Obama is somehow reelected. Yep, bye, bye is right, to our way of life.

Ridiculous! He was born here and is a Christian. Apparently you're not or you would not think that way.
