In this day and age, I don't get what the big deal is. There was another article on Yahoo yesterday all about Vanessa Minillo (sp?) taking Nick Lachey's last name. *Scratches head*.

Personally, I think it's pretty cool when a woman keeps her on last name. I took my dh's name, but I never really cared for my maiden name. My niece (23), just got divorced, and changed back to her maiden name. She says she'll never get rid of it again, she might hyphenate if she ever re-marries, but really just wants to keep this name forever. I say you go, girl. :smileyhappy: Make your future hubby take YOUR name - that's a trend now, too!

What your name is happens to be a highly personal decision, why do others feel the need to judge about it?
