We were all pretty quiet the last half of February so maybe a new thread can bring us back to our normal chit-chat =)
Amy ~ I see you are 8w3d now, how are you feeling?

ive decided to stay with my clinic... although the other clinic has better fresh cycle stats, my clinic has better FET stats so it doesnt really make sense to make the move unless i end up needing another fresh cycle ( i hope not ever ever again) my goal is to just get anna one sibling ( a far cry from my original goal of 5 children lol) Im an only child and my DH only has one brother who we really dont see so i dont want her to be alone in the world someday.
Caryn- So exciting youre moving along with your FET ! i cant believe how quick these miracles are growing... im a little jealous of all kylies new words but thats a post for a diffferent time. I hear you about getting healthier im the heaviest ive ever been (including pregnancy) so im developing a plan after i stopped BFing it all packed on !
Chris- I hope youll be joining us on the FET train this summer im trying to convince DH to do it prior to september so maybe ill be a little more in line with you girls if i succeed
Havinfaith- i too hope your little one is doing well ! id love an update when you get some time enjoy every minute
peanuts- didnt realize you guys had started cereal ! i was so scared to we just skipped it anna already had poop issues on BM only ! hope your little guy enjoys it, these babies are getting too big too fast :(
Sarah- how are the babies doing? been praying for you guys lots. hows the move/packing going. ive only had to do it once with one baby and it was bad enough lots of "props" to you
hope everyone else is well pregnant or not !
Caryn - Are you getting a little more excited for your FET.. Are you still planning on transfering Aug/Sep?

Caryn, I felt the best with my last pregnancy. Don't know if it was due to all the walking I did, my GD diet, or just plain luck. I still try to watch what I eat but I haven't done much walking as I am waiting for the 'Spring' weather to come. I know what you mean 'where does the time go' , I look at Xander and he is almost 5 months!
Sarah - hope your little ones are doing well and you can bring them home very soon!
Sorcet - Good idea to stay with the clinic with the better FET rates. Looks like you will have some cycle buddies:)
Chris - Did you stop BF? Eventhough I am still nurising, my 'friend' arrived last week for a visit. What testing do you have to get done for your prior to FET? Is it the pap, mammo, infectious disease labs??
AFM - we got our bill last week for yearly 'storage' fees. Yesterday, I spoke with DH and he wants to give our one little frostie a shot.. He wants to do it Soon as he said 'I am not getting any younger'. I think the final decision will depend upon a few factors, what the RE says, insurance coverage (if any), my overall health - I'm old-hee hee. My DH's company has new insurance and 'supposedly' they have infertility coverage lifetime max of $10G, but when I call and inquire about FET, none of them seem to think it will be covered, ugh:( IVF - yes, FET - no... WTH! So, I guess my next steps are to make appt. with RE so see what is required of me.. I need to get a mammo done but I am still nursing. Has anyone had a mammo done while nursing???
Hope everyone has a GREAT week..
p.s. A cyber friend of mine who was on the TTC over 40 board, her DH had an aneurysm and passed away. Please pray for her and her 3 young children.
Peanut - YEY!! going to transfer your frosy.. how exciting.

Chris ~ No one can blame you for wanting another cycle (or 3) off from testing. There's really no hurry since you aren't planning a FET until later in the year. I can totally relate to food just being "grab what you can" at the beginning. I was eating very healthy before I got pregnant and got a little lax during pregnancy (darn cheeseburger cravings!) and afterwards. I've made an effort in the last few weeks and I'm already feeling better. We're targeting late June or July for our FET. We'd like to leave time for 3-4 FETs and a natural cycle this insurance year. I hope it's easier for both of us with #2. Maybe our bodies figured out something?
Peanut ~ I can't believe Xander is almost 5 months old, wow! Good to hear that his Hapybellies cereal is working well for him =) I don't think you can get a mammo done while nursing. Not sure how long they want in between weaning and mammo though. If you find out please KUP. Fun that you are moving on with your FET. Do you have an desired timeline in mind? I'm so sorry to hear of your friends loss...how very, very sad =(
AFM (Caryn) ~ We had a great weekend. Lots of family time and even dinner out on Saturday with my MIL, BIL and parents. My chimichanga and margarita were amazing =) I'm expecting surge this week so I'll go in for some more monitoring. This week it's hit me that I only have a few weeks until I will begin the weaning process =( Nursing has been an amazing part of my motherhood journey and I'm very sad to be winding it down. Before I had a baby nursing freaked me out. I didn't know if I could do it at all and set my "aspire" goal at 6 months. Now I find myself clinging to it and being sad that we will give it up by the time she's 2. The plan right now is to stop her mid day nursing the beginning of April, her evening nursing the beginning of May and the morning nursing session the beginning of June. She turns 2 on May 29th. Sigh. I know it'll be fine and it'll be better for my FET but right now it just makes me sad...
Hi everyone!!!!!!!!! Long time no chat:( I have tried to read through the posts and WOW.......looks like there will be quite a few FET's this year! Well, good luck ladies. The little one that is in my carrier right now was from an FET. If anyone has any btdt questions feel free to ask me!
I have had zip, zero, zilch time lately. A 2 year old and a newborn is not for the faint of heart.......LOL! I will give you an update- so DD#1 LOVES being a big sister. she is all over the baby. That's both good and bad. BUT she dose try to slap her sometimes. The dr said that its very normal so I feel like I am constantly on the defense. DD was never like this before but then again we never had a baby around this long before:) DD#2 is doing well.......its been a little ruff though. I found out a couple weeks ago that she has milk/soy intolerance. so I had to cut dairy and soy out of my diet. That is hard because they are both in EVERYTHING. She is feeling better now though. she still has some residual effects. She also has reflux so I have a hard time laying her on her back, which means I sleep sitting up while I hold her over my shoulder. That's the only position she was not screaming in pain. we are getting there though. the dr said that in a week I should continue to see improvement. Also she refuses a bottle. I have tried everything (well DH has) and every bottle. I have 1 more that should
havinfaith ~ Great to hear from you! You sound like one busy lady!!! My daughter was soy and milk intolerant too. I can remember how overwhelming it was to overhaul our diet and you're right it's in EVERYTHING. Once I found a bread that was "safe" and some other staples it became much easier. I would say it took about 30 days before we felt like we had a menu we could choose items from. Please give a shout out if you need some BTDT advice. I'm sure I'll be doing that with you for the FET later this year =)
AFM (Caryn) ~ I thought I would surge this week but my CBEFM is still showing "low" so who knows what's happening - looks like a long cycle. Hopefully it doesn't happen this weekend when I would have to drive an hour each way for monitoring...if it does I may delay the monitoring cycle until next month. Maybe my new thyroid meds are messing with my cycle?
havinfaith- sorry to hear youre having such a hard time. i too cut out soy and dairy for a long while until i realized DD got no relief ( shes actually lactose intolerant) I know how hard it is, glad to hear its slowly getting better though ! I second caryn bring on the FET advice ! and btw 7 hours a night ... youre a very lucky girl ! praying your work transition goes smoothly
just a little update from me- anna is currently cutting 3 teeth that i know of right now, ( she only has 4 at 16 months) so please pray for me and my cranky cranky baby :)
