Just Found Out, And Panicking a Bit

I went off my antidepressants, and my birth control pills, and ibuprofen, and caffeine, for God's sakes, and spent six months somehow thinking that this would never, ever work, because everything I was reading on the Internet said that trying to get pregnant at 38 would be HARD.

And now I am six weeks pregnant, found out Friday, and I can't stop crying. I went out with family and had several drinks a couple of weeks ago, and I have scared myself into complete hysteria after reading every FAS site on the Internet--the problem here might be that I just need to stop reading the Internet, you think?

I'm trying to set up a prenatal visit, but the stupid Planned Parenthood website won't accept my birthdate so I have to wait to call tomorrow.

I'm sorry you're feeling this way. The first few weeks can be difficult because of morning sickness and being surprised to be pregnant. I hope you can get an appointment soon. I think that will help you feel better. I'm currently six months pregnant and I turn 41 this week. This pregnancy was a complete surprise. I know how difficult it was for me to process that I was pregnant again. Lol. It will work out for you, too. It will get easier, I promise. Let me know when you get in to see your dr. Hugs.
