The bad, the good and the ugly?

I currently live with my boyfriend. We've been together for a little over a year. I love him and enjoy being with him. We currently rent a room from his friend who recently bought a house to help him out with mortgage and what not. We agreed he would live there for at least a year before moving out and getting our own place. I don't mind this at all, the friend we live with is awesome. However i got an offer to move in with this cool co worker and part of me wants to do it. Mainly to feel a little more independent and enjoy the space before we get place of our own. Would this be a bad idea? I think if anything it would be a good space break but not a break in relationship. What do you think? Is this a bad, good or ugly idea?
