Could your fraternal twins actually be identical?

I was really surprised to read that it's not uncommon for doctors to misidentify twins as being fraternal instead of identical!

Either way doesn't bother me. In the end, they will always be individual people. My identical twin SILs look alike, yet act nothing alike. My 10 yo step daughter and 3 yo daughter act like clones of each other, despite being in the same home was limited until 10 months ago.
