FlyLady always talks about putting things on our launch pad.
Well, as I was picking up a few things and getting ready to go to see Trace Adkins last night I made a launch pad. My makeup bag to touch up before I went in, cell phone charger (doesn't work if the fuse for the cigarette lighter is burned out) and a few other items.
I left the house and was a couple of miles away when I realized I forgot the zoom lens for my camera. I went home and got it. Was almost half way there when I realized I had forgotten the camera! I went and picked up a cheap one and I know that my pics aren't going to be worth crap when I download them. It was a very small venue and even though I had gotten my tickets the night before I was 14 rows back dead center.
Oh well, if I had been prepared I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the concert so much because I would've been too busy taking pics. That's okay. I am po'd that I wasted $50. I think I'll just keep it in my purse for those 'moments' or else give it to my nephews girls.

Trace is an amazing person. I literally cried when I heard his house burned last summer. If you get on spotify and search his name listen to all of his songs. They are all amazing. Some fun, some really speak to the heart. He started the show with a song from his new cd and then he said that lots of people tend to hear a new song and just download it and don't bother to buy the cd. He said
Yes, he's great.
I warned the people on each side of me that I would probably cry when he sang that and sure enough I did.
The fire at his house started in the garage in a power strip I believe. I definitely have to join his fan club. You get one meet and greet a year. I could've seen him in June AND last week!
Smilin_girl, I'm sorry to hear you left your camera at home but you had a great time at the concert.
I don't know what a launch pad is. Am I missing something here?
