The bears are awake already!

We had a visit from a bear at 3:10 am last night. It was trying to get into our composter. Usually they're not out for at least another month or more, which is when we start using the compost heap further out on our property. With all this nice weather they must have woken up early. This is going to be a long summer. We always have an ongoing battle of trying to keep them out of our trash. (The bears often win and I end up picking up trash...and swearing a lot.) :smileyfrustrated:
