Hunger Games inspired recipes

The Hunger Games will FINALLY open this week... like all of you, I've really been looking forward to seeing the story come to life on the big screen! We still haven't decided if we're going to do the midnight showing, but just in case we do, I found some really cute recipes for a pre-movie get-together!

The goat cheese bites look really yummy and the blackberry cobbler... OMG! I'd love to try the Saffron and Raisin Breakfast Bread, but I always seem to flub up bread recipes.

I'm excited about the opening, too! I hope you're able to go to the midnight showing; I bet it will be a huge blast!

Thanks for sharing that link; I was just coming over to share an iVillage article on How to Throw a Hunger Games Party! LOL GMTA! I love that it includes a lamb stew with dried plums... since it was Katniss's favorite dish. And I really want one of those Mockingjay pins!

I work in a bookstore and you wouldn't believe all the Hunger Games stuff that is out. I've read them and enjoyed them, but can't believe all the hoopla.
