Now that Spring is coming, are you going to step up your exercising?

Now that Spring is coming, I think, are you going to step up your exercising?
Spring is supposed to be here where I am in California but we are having winter weather. It is too cold and too rainy to go for a walk or to work in my garden. But I did get some seeds for carrots, spinach and lettuce so I am ready to start planting my organic garden as soon as we can work the soil.
What are your plans or what are you doing? Remember exercise helps keep your blood sugar under better control.
It's been spring like here in SE Alabama most of the winter so Don and I started walking then my knees got real bad and I had 2 steroid injections in both knees about 2 months apart.
I am sorry that you are in such pain. But congratulation on yours and Don's weight loss. That is just wonderful.
I gained a little when I was away on my trip. Nothing like eating all your meals out and not having a scale to tell how you were doing. So I am trying to get that off and then a little more. I am not sure that Spring is going to come here. I think we had it January and February. Now we have winter again! It is only in the 50's around here and we are so far behind in the rain department that they say there is no way for us to catch up. I have about 200 gallons saved but it won't take too long to go through that. At least with the rain this week I can wait at least 2 weeks before I need to turn the sprinkler system on. Every little bit helps!
I have yet to do anything.... even as nice as it has been. My varicose veins are popping out now....
I got an app for the local NPR station that I like to listen to while I walk on the treadmill. I don't know if I can get it when I just walk outside. Although I don't know why I couldn't get it. Just never thought about that!!!
If you are having problems with your varicose veins remember to drink as much liquids as you can and don't smoke ( which I don't think you do anyway.)
Is the app on your phone?
Yes, the app is on my phone. And I have an iPhone so it may not be available for all other phones.
You need to keep your blood as viscous as possible to keep your variscose veins from acting up, so that is why I told you to drink lots of liquids. Caffeine and cigarettes encourage the blood vessels to spasm and that isn't good for varicose veins either. These are just suggestions which you can ignore if you want!
